Undergraduate programs can both be found at 4 & 5 Years Bachelor programs.

Medical students often go on to pursue careers as physicians, surgeons, researchers and administrators in the medical profession. At the undergraduate level.

Undergraduate Programs:

'Undergraduate' here refers to students who hold a bachelor's degree.

We are offering four degree programs for Undergraduate:

1.    M.B.B.S

2.    Doctors of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences

3.    Doctors of Pharmacy ( PHARM-D)

4.    Bachelors of Nursing

5.    Bachelors Science in Public Health ( BSPH)

MBBS/DPT/PHARM-D student take five years to complete & Bachelors of Science in Public health 4 years, & Nursing students complete their degree in 4 years with one year house job.

ADMISSIONS IN MBBS

Session 2023-24: Only for GIRLS

Applications are invited only from GIRL STUDENTS for Admissions in 1st Year MBBS Academic Session: 2023-24, under the categories of OPEN MERIT, DISABLED & SELF-FINANCE (UDP).

ADMISSION SCHEDULE

1. Application Start Date: TUE 12th December, 2023 (at 9:00 am)

2. Closing Date: WED 20th December, 2023 (at 4:00 pm)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. The Applicant must have PRC/Domicile of Tagged District of PUMHSW, (See Prospectus)

 

2. The Applicant must have passed Intermediate /HSSC or F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) Group or Equivalent Examination (eg. A-Level, 12th Grade etc.) with Minimum 60% Percent Marks.

 3. As per PM&DC Regulations, MDCAT 2023 with Pass Percentage for Admissions in Marks MBBS is 55%.

 4. Candidates shall be required to fulfill Additional Eligibility Requirements for various categories of Seats as given in the Prospectus.

5. All the Admissions shall be provided in accordance with Allocation of Seats Purely on MERIT basis reflected in Prospectus 2023-24 of Health Department Government of Sindh.

Any Candidate interested to apply on Self-Finance Category shall have to submit Pay Order/Demand Draft of Rs. 616,000/- (Rupees Six Hundred & Sixteen Thousands, Only) in favour of "VICE CHANCELLOR. PUMHSW, Nawabshah (Shaheed Benazirabad) before Closing Date and MUST attach the following Documents with the Application Form:

(a) Print Copy of MDCAT 2023 Score Result.

(b) Attested Photostat Copies of all required Documents, mentioned in Prospectus.

(c) Original Pay Order/Demand Draft.

NOTES:

It is MANDATORY for the Applicants to Application Forms ONLINE, Print the same and submit to Admissions Department, PUMHSW (SBA) by Courier alongwith attached Photocopies of required Documents.

That every Candidate must have to deposit Application Processing Fee of Rs.1,000/- (One Thousand Non-Refundable, in A/C No: 1439-79014003-03 titled "PUMHSW Online Students Receipts Account' Habib Bank Limited (HBL) and have to attach the Bank Challan of this Deposit with Application Form.

Application Forms received without Required Documents and for recieved after the Closing Date shall NOT be ACCEPTED and ENTERTAINED.

THE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE ANY GRIEVENESS/OBJECTION WITH MDCAT RESULT WILL HAVE TO RESOLVE THEIR ISSUES FROM DUHS, KARACHI BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE OF ADMISSION.

 

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Any Candidate found to have submitted FORGED/FAKE/FABRICATED Documents Incorrect/False Information shall be DEBARRED from Admission.

 2. Candidates are advised to enter their Correct and Active Cell No. & Email in their Applications

3. Applications which are INCOMPLETE in any manner or those received after Due Date, shall be rejected. It shall be the responsibility of the Candidate to submit Complete

Application as per the instruction given in the Prospectus.

4. After the Last Date of Submission of Application any Results, Revised Result Cards, increase in Marks by Boards/Universities, Or for that matter any other Document, shall NOT be acceptable.

5. Candidates having Foreign Qualification such as A/O Level etc, shall have to upload the Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC otherwise their Applications shall be REJECTED

6. No Receipts of Documents, under Process of Preparation (e. g. PRC/Domicile, Equivalence, etc.) shall be acceptable.
