کنٹرولر جنرل آف اکاؤنٹس اسلام آباد کی جانب سے جاری کردہ نوٹیفیکیشن کے مطابق سٹیٹ پراویڈنٹ فنڈ یا جنرل پراویڈنٹ فنڈ کی مارک اپ کی شرح دو ہزار اکیس بائیس کے مالی سال کے لیے  بارہ اعشاریہ چالیس فیصد مقرر کی گئی ہے گزشتہ سال دو ہزار بیس اکیس کے لیے یہ شرح سات اعشاریہ نوے فیصد کی گئی تھی جو بہت ہی کم تھی اور سرکاری ملازمین کے اندر بے چینی اور اضطراب کی لہر دوڑ گئی تھی اکثر نے جی پی فنڈ نکلوانا شروع کر دیا تھا مگر اب یہ بارہ اعشاریہ چالیس فیصد کی شرح اطمینان بخش ہے اور ان میں خوشی کی لہر دوڑ گئی ہے
